～Lunch Report By ALT～

Very unique school lunch today.  The ‘green potato’ is what my mother used to simply call parsley potatoes, a kind of drier mashed potato with a liberal mix of parsley  Mashed potatoes have to be one of my all time favorite foods and these are not bad.  I think they need salt and pepper, but they are still very good.  They pair well with the soup as well which is quite good.  The onion soup is really nice and has some good flavors.  The bacon adds a lot of good smokey flavors as well which is nice.  The sloppy joe is a super tasty sandwich and tastes very close to the ones I ate when I was younger.  Very interesting and delicious lunch today and satisfying as well.  It is so rainy and dreary today so having a nice lunch like this feels good.
